Optimize Your Falcon’s Performance and Save with EASy IV Upgrade

Optimize Your Falcon’s Performance and Save with EASy IV Upgrade

Honeywell’s Primus Epic EASy IV cockpit for Dassault Falcon 7X and 8X operators gives pilots vivid displays, more processing power, new capabilities and added safety features for a one-of-a-kind flying experience.

If you’re a Falcon operator, you may qualify for a substantial discount when you install the new cockpit and all available software in your aircraft.

Falcon 7X operators enrolled in the Honeywell Maintenance Service Plan (MSP) that covers avionics components are eligible for a $20,000 one-time incentive per aircraft, while operators without a plan in force qualify for a $15,000 incentive. Falcon 8X operators can receive a $15,000 one-time incentive if they already have MSP coverage and $10,000 if they don’t. To be eligible, operators must upgrade all applicable Block III parts and stay enrolled in the MSP for at least three years. This ensures they receive the full benefit of the incentive.

Honeywell’s goal is to provide our valued MSP-Avionics Components customers and other Falcon operators with a clear and affordable path to upgrade their obsolete avionics systems to the advanced features and functionality of the Primus Epic EASy IV cockpit,” said Debbie Clark, MSP Service Sales Manager.

For more information, contact your Dassault customer service manager or field technical representative or email EASyIV@dassault-aviation.com.

Easy IV Opens the Opportunity to Upgrade to Newer Display Units

The EASy IV upgrade unlocks the possibility to replace legacy DU-1310-1 displays, which are obsolete and no longer covered by the MSP, with the updated DU-1310-2. The new units provide four times higher resolution and a richer color palette than the legacy displays.

The upgraded units are fully covered, so Honeywell will replace them under the program if something goes wrong,” Clark explained. “We encourage operators to install the EASy IV upgrade to make sure their displays and other avionics components are fully covered.”

The EASy IV flight deck sets new standards for situational awareness by giving pilots one of the best views ever of where they are and where they’re headed in three dimensions. It uses an advanced interactive navigation (INAV) map that makes it easy for pilots to see airspace restrictions and terrain resolution. Combined with a new interactive vertical situation display (VSD), the INAV also provides pilots with a clear view of thunderstorm development.

In addition, EASy IV gives pilots a way to layer navigation, weather and traffic displays, so the information they need is always front-and-center. At the airport, clear and intuitive 3D and 2D moving maps deliver a clear picture of runways, taxiways, ramps and other features, which makes ground navigation safer and easier, even in low-visibility conditions.

The EASy IV upgrade is the surest way to futureproof your Falcon with business aviation’s most advanced flight deck. Primus Epic enhances flight safety, improves situational awareness on the ground and in the air, and creates better flying experiences for pilots and passengers.

For close to 50 years, MSP has been shielding flight departments from budget-busting repair costs, unscheduled maintenance events and unplanned aircraft downtime.

Honeywell pioneered prepaid maintenance plans for business aviation. What started as an easy and affordable way to extend warranty coverage on Honeywell propulsion engines has evolved into a total ecosystem of innovative plans. In addition to avionics and engines, Honeywell offers MSP coverage engine nacelles, auxiliary power units (APUs) and mechanical components.

MSP offers operators the ultimate choice of flexible and affordable protection, along with something even more valuable – peace of mind.
