Honeywell Aerospace and Fly Across complete first Ensemble engine monitoring and predictive maintenance installation in Latin America
Milestone launches availability of Ensemble installation and maintenance support in Mexico, giving operators greater visibility into engine performance
PHOENIX, November 5, 2026 – Honeywell Aerospace (Nasdaq: HONA) today announced the first installation of its Ensemble connected engine technology in Latin America. Fly Across, Honeywell Aerospace’s authorized channel partner for the HTF7000-series engines in Mexico, installed the connected engine technology on an Embraer Praetor 500 with support from Honeywell Aerospace field service technicians.
The milestone expands local access to Honeywell Aerospace’s connected engine capabilities and demonstrates Fly Across’ ability to support business aviation operators in Mexico and across Latin America.
“As demand grows for more connected, data-driven predictive maintenance solutions across Latin America, this installation marks an important step in bringing advanced engine technology and local technical support closer to operators in the region,” said Taylor Alberstadt, VP of business and general aviation sales at Honeywell Aerospace. “Working with Fly Across, we are helping operators spend less time manually collecting engine data and giving their maintenance teams better access to information that can support more proactive maintenance scheduling.”
Ensemble works with an aircraft-mounted Engine Data Gateway, known as EDG-100, to automate the collection and wireless transfer of engine data. Instead of requiring maintenance teams to retrieve the data manually, the system transmits the data via Wi-Fi for analysis when the aircraft is on the ground. This gives operators more timely visibility into engine performance and helps maintenance teams identify developing issues before they cause an operational disruption.
“Completing the first Ensemble installation in Latin America demonstrates the technical capability of our team and the value of having experienced, local support close to operators,” said Javier Gonzalez, CEO of Fly Across. “By working closely with Honeywell Aerospace, we completed the installation and testing on schedule while building practical experience that will help us support future installations across Mexico and the region.”
Ensemble is offered free-of-charge to eligible operators enrolled through Honeywell Aerospace’s engine Maintenance Service Plan and Maintenance Service Plan Gold programs. The technology is designed for aircraft powered by Honeywell HTF7000-series engines, including the Embraer Praetor 500 and Praetor 600.
The Ensemble installation builds on Honeywell Aerospace’s relationship with Fly Across as a recently added authorized channel partner. Honeywell Aerospace expects the experience gained during the project to help streamline future Ensemble installations, with Honeywell Aerospace field support available remotely and onsite as required.
