New FMS Guided Visuals Now in ForeFlight Content Packs

At Honeywell, we’ve added new FMS Guided Visual (FGV) approaches, and are currently developing and testing several others to meet the needs of our valued customers. FGVs provide lateral and vertical guidance to runways where maintaining a stable approach may be challenging due to terrain, airspace and other external factors. 

New FGV approaches added in recent cycles

• Napa (KAPC) Runway 24
• White Plains (KHPN) Sound Visual Runway 34
• Singapore – Seletar (WSSL) Runways 3 and 21
• Heber City (KHCR) Runway 4 (runway 22 in work)
• Truckee – Tahoe (KTRK) Runways 11 and 29
• San Diego Brown Field (KSDM) Runway 26R

•  Bedford (KBED) Runway 29
•  Chambery (LFLB) VPT Runway 36

ForeFlight Content Packs

Honeywell is now providing ForeFlight Content Packs containing all approaches for each cycle. 

Content Packs offer two significant benefits: 

• You can easily upload FGV charts directly into the ForeFlight app.
•  FGV charts will be displayed within the Procedure tab for each airport with all other procedures. (See screenshot below for example.)

These visual approaches are part of Honeywell’s RNP database subscription, and we’re pleased to announce they are now available for a broader range of aircraft types in a separate database.
