Honeywell is pleased to announce the release of the Black Label 8.6 software upgrade for JetWave terminals, an important step forward in delivering faster, more reliable connectivity for customers across the CONUS region.

What's New in Black Label 8.6

The 8.6 upgrade delivers a suite of improvements that optimize satellite communications without any hardware changes. By enabling access to the Anik F2T satellite, it allows JetWave customers to benefit from expanded coverage, increased bandwidth and faster, more reliable all-day connectivity.

  Stay connected throughout the day with fewer service gaps and enhanced speed—all without hardware replacement.
• Flexible Installation Options
  Choose between a technician-led manual update or a convenient over-the-air (OTA) upgrade. While current OTA downloads take longer, an upcoming release will cut the time to under 30 minutes – making OTA the preferred method for future upgrades.

Eligibility and Upgrade Access

The Black Label 8.6 upgrade is available to all Honeywell Forge JetWave customers. Field Service Engineers (FSEs) will prioritize rollout by region, with CONUS-based operators receiving early access.
