Overview
Honeywell model 8507145-001 (LHCP) and -002 (RHCP) are wideband, planar, cavity-backed spiral antennas designed and qualified for military aircraft installation. These antennas support various ESM functions and can be deployed individually or as amplitude-/phase-matched sets for Radar Warning or Interferometry. Remarkably compact at just 4.5 inches in diameter, they offer coverage down to 500 MHz—performance typically requiring a 6–8 inches antenna, which can pose SWaP and accuracy challenges. The model also delivers wide, semi-constant beamwidths across its operating band.
