Overview
Honeywell model 8508580-501 (LHCP) and -502 (RHCP) are high-efficiency, planar, cavity-backed spiral antennas designed and qualified for military aircraft. Engineered to deliver wideband performance and semi-constant beamwidth typical of spiral antennas, they also offer enhanced efficiency. With greater than 0 dBiL boresight gain at frequencies as low as 700 MHz, all within a compact 6-inch diameter housing, these antennas are suitable for both receive and low-power transmit applications.
