131-9B APU Min
Overview
The aft mounting brackets on any 131-9B APU Series 40 or earlier cannot be installed on a 737MAX aircraft due to the increased fireproofing requirements put in place during aircraft certification. The newly designed left- and right-hand mount brackets are machined with a base Inconel 718 material making them compliant toward the fire proofing requirements. The new brackets are fully interchangeable with the Titanium brackets on the 737NG and required with 737MAX.
