Advanced Navigation (A-NAV) Database

Overview
The Advanced Navigation (A‑NAV) Database expands aircraft capabilities by providing access to Honeywell-developed special instrument flight procedures that leverage advanced FMS functionality. These FAA-approved procedures utilize advanced RNAV navigation and Radius-to-Fix (RF) leg technology to enable more precise arrivals and departures at airports where conventional procedures may be limited. Designed for aircraft certified for Advanced RNP (A‑RNP) or RNP AR capabilities, the database can help operators achieve lower weather minimums, improve approach stability, reduce pilot workload, and access airports with challenging terrain or operational constraints. A‑NAV also includes Honeywell FMS Guided Visual Approaches, creating a comprehensive navigation solution that enhances safety, operational flexibility, and efficiency.

Available Airports & Procedures Includes special procedures at challenging airports such as:
  • Aspen, CO (KASE)
  • Telluride, CO (KTEX)
  • Eagle, CO (KEGE)
  • Gunnison, CO (KGUC)
  • Sun Valley/Hailey, ID (KSUN)
  • Bishop, CA (KBIH)
  • Palm Springs, CA (KPSP)
