SiriusXM Aviation Weather (SXM Weather) helps pilots track storm cells and make more informed decisions before and during flight. We deliver continuously updated graphical information directly to the cockpit, including NEXRAD radar imagery, lightning data, turbulence forecasts, icing conditions, surface observations, terminal forecasts, winds aloft and other critical weather products.SXM Weather provides near real-time weather information on cockpit displays near to help pilots identify developing hazards, adjust routes, avoid convective weather and improve situational awareness throughout the flight. Rather than relying solely on preflight briefings or periodic updates from air traffic control, you can monitor changing weather conditions as they develop.We integrate SXM Weather in our systemsWe integrate SiriusXM weather services into many of our avionics systems and flight decks.
